We're thrilled to announce the appointment of Saniyah Babul as our new Head of Book Drives.

Saniyah’s journey with the Maryam Library Foundation began three years ago, when she was just a freshman in high school. Now a junior, her passion for promoting literacy has only grown, and she has become an integral part of our team.

Over the years, Saniyah has been a driving force behind our book collection efforts. Her hard work has:

• Collected hundreds of books: She has partnered with local schools to gather an incredible number of books, ensuring they reach children and communities across Africa and India who need them most.

• Strengthened our community: Her dedication has inspired teachers, students, and families to get involved, expanding our network of supporters.

• Provided consistent leadership: From sorting donations to coordinating with volunteers, Saniyah's consistent efforts have been crucial to the success of our book drives.

Maryam Zehra, the founder and president of the Maryam Library Foundation, shared her excitement for the appointment.
