In 2025, the Maryam Library Foundation is proud to continue our journey of transforming education through libraries—this time reaching into new communities in Tamil Nadu to establish 5 new libraries. We are partnering once again with OSAAT (One School At A Time), working to ensure that more students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed by building more libraries.

Our Mission: Expanding Horizons Through Literacy

Every child deserves access to books, resources, and spaces that spark curiosity and support their success. Libraries are not just shelves of books; they are a path to opportunity and imagination.

By combining OSAAT’s dedication to building educational infrastructure with our mission to foster literacy, we are creating libraries that empower entire school communities.

Our 2025 Library Projects

This year, we are proud to complete libraries in the following schools:

- Government High School, Kayarambedu, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu: A government high school in Chengalpattu that received a new library.

- Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Thirukazhukundram, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu: A girls’ higher secondary school in Chengalpattu strengthened with a dedicated library space.

- Government Higher Secondary School, Kembanaickenpalayam, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: A higher secondary school in the Coimbatore district, where students now have access to a newly established library.

- Government Higher Secondary School, Kalapatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: A school in the 2025–26 program with a library that is designed to support both study and creativity.

- Government Higher Secondary School, Arasur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: A Coimbatore-based school where the addition of a library is helping students make good reading habits and learning opportunities.

All of these schools have their own unique journeys, but they share a passion for reading and learning among their peers.

Volunteer – Organize book drives, help with installations, or lead literacy programs.
