This isn't just a shipping crate; it's a vessel carrying 40,000 dreams, 40 libraries, and a future bursting with possibility for the children of Kenya.
For the past four weeks, the Maryam Library Foundation has been on a mission: Project Kenya 40. Our goal? To collect, sort, and pack 40,000 books into a single container, transforming it into a literary ark bound for Kenyan shores. Today, we marked a significant milestone in this journey by hosting our first volunteer event in collaboration with Help Aid Africa, bringing together a group of dedicated individuals who shared our passion for making a difference. With their enthusiastic support, we made substantial progress in sorting and packing books for shipment to Kenya.
The atmosphere was electric as our volunteers, armed with boxes, packaging material, and an unwavering spirit, tackled the task with remarkable efficiency.
