Building Futures, One Book at a Time: Introducing the New Library at GHSS Kembanaickenpalayam

The Maryam Foundation is delighted to extend our library initiatives to Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Kembanaickenpalayam, in Tamil Nadu. We believe that every student deserves to have access to resources that inspire curiosity, build their confidence, and open doors to a brighter future.
GHSS Kembanaickenpalayam: A School with Promise
GHSS Kembanaickenpalayam has 451 persevering students from classes 6 to 12, who are guided by 19 dedicated teachers. Offering education in both Tamil and English medium, this school plays a crucial role in shaping these young learners at a formative stage. With strong academics and committed staff members, this school is well-positioned to benefit from a library experience.
Creating the First Library
To prepare these students for their futures, we established a library stocked with a huge number of books and a dedicated space. In the newly constructed library, students can explore, read, and learn in ways that were previously impossible. This marks a new chapter for both the school and the students.
