One of my earliest memories is going to the library for the first time. Walking through those big glass doors, holding my mothers’s hand, it all felt so surreal. The shelves seemed so large back then, like it was wall to wall books. I’d wander off to the children’s section and lose track of time flipping through all the fun picture books. Even now, that feeling of excitement and suspense of what I’ll read next stays with me.
Libraries are packed with more than just books—they’re filled with ideas, creativity, and a sense of wonder. Whether it’s a chapter book, a cookbook, or a graphic novel, every item on the shelf holds something new to learn. People gather there to study, to write, to research, and to daydream.
